Roadmap Out Of Lockdown In Wales | Children's Entertainment With Non-Stop Kids

Updated: Aug 10, 2023

Everyone has heard the great news that all social restrictions within the UK have been removed. However, there are still lockdown rules & guidelines within Wales. As we've mentioned in previous blogs, Wales have their own Government with their own set of rules. That won't be a problem because we're going to break down what Wales' plans are for removing social restrictions.

Navigating Lockdown Easing in Wales | Children's Entertainment by Non-Stop Kids

The good news is Non-Stop Kids cover the whole of the UK as well as Wales. Our entertainers are spread all across both countries. We'll accommodate you with whoever is closest to your party. Our Garden Party Package is even specifically designed to adhere with the Government Guidelines in your area to make sure your experience is safe, memorable and secure. Now let's cover what the Wales' Government plans are for easing social restrictions.

The Governments' Plan From July 17th, 2021

As of July 17th, 2021, there are no legal restrictions on how many people can gather outdoors. You are also allowed to have up to 6 people meet indoors within private homes and holiday accommodation. Ice rinks are now permitted to re-open as well. Children of up to 30 who are from organisations (e.g the Brownies and Scouts) will be allowed to attend residential centres over the summer holidays. Lastly, organised indoors events for up to 1,000 seated or 200 standing can take place under risk assessment while taking reasonable measures.

The Next Stage From August 7th, 2021

If the Government feels like their country is in a good position to go ahead and further ease restrictions, the next step will be to remove all legal restrictions on the number of people who can meet indoors. This includes private homes, public places and events. All businesses and premises will be able to open once again, including nightclubs. Lastly, face coverings will remain a legal requirement indoors, except for hospitality premises. This will all be kept under review.

Conclusion!

That's everything the Wales Government has planned to ease the lockdown restrictions. Everything will be kept under review and we will let you know if there are any changes. Until then, you can trust Non-Stop Kids with confidence to provide an amazing experience for your children's birthday.
