How To Have A Garden Party | Children's Garden Parties

Updated: Aug 10, 2023

We developed our Garden Package to bring the hassle free experience of our entertainment services right to your personal outdoor space. Now that the rules are relaxing with the next planned lockdown exit on July 19th, parents are eagerly securing our services for garden parties in the upcoming weeks. Who doesn't want to be outside in the hot weather?

Guidelines for Hosting a Garden Party | Kid-Friendly Outdoor Celebrations

You may have never experienced a children's garden party before and want to consider securing one for your kid's upcoming birthday party. That's amazing to hear because we're just as excited to help provide a brilliant children's entertainment service. Let's take a look at how to have an outdoor party with some great tips along the way.

Send Out The Invitations!

No point in having a party if no one else is aware of the details. Once your location and kid's entertainment is secured, the next step is inviting your children's friends as soon as possible. The sooner you send out the invitations, the more likely your guests will not have made other plans on the day and will be able to attend. You can send out the traditional RSVPs or use social media to create an event that everyone can see and confirm if they want to join or not. This will also help you maintain the 30 limit rule.

Don't Exceed 30 Guests!

Now the important thing you have to remember is not to exceed the 30 person limit rule. We can't stress this enough. The number applies to all children, adults and even your entertainer. For example, you may have twenty children, nine adults and one entertainer. Or you could even have twenty-five children, four adults and one entertainer. You get the idea. The good news is we only have a couple of more weeks to find out if all social restrictions will be removed on July 19th. Keep following the rules till then and it'll be over before you know it.

Make Space For Your Entertainment!

It goes without saying that you'll need plenty of space in your garden for your entertainment as well as for everyone to maintain social distancing rules. When our entertainers arrive, they will be in full protective gear and remember to sanitise & clean all of their equipment. The equipment we bring is designed to be state of the art and can work outdoors as well as indoors. We'll take care of the children's entertainment. All you need to do is feed the kids and hand them their coats on the way out.

Garden Birthday Activities!

There's still lots of games available for a garden party. A popular game for everyone to play is charades. This is a great game that allows all the kids to take turns on acting out a film or TV characters, scenes from something they love to watch or even specific words for their friends to guess. Charades is an amazing game that has limitless opportunities and hours of fun at the end. Best part is no one needs to stand near each other and you don't need any equipment as well!

Another option is a traditional scavenger hunt that gets everyone to come together and search for items you have planted out for them to find. You can easily take this one step further now and make a nature scavenger hunt. You can make a checklist for everyone that includes pictures of something they would usually find outdoors. This could be flowers, rocks, toys and much more. The kids then hunt for the items and cross out each photo along the way. It's a fun game that has an adventure thrill everyone will adore.
